Shopping Online for Grocery Delivery from Home

Highlighting  the favorite online Food Supply Chain convenient services available for getting food services delivered to your home. Post COVID Pandemic Grocery Shopping changed the way we shop and receive the foods, goods and services for our home.  

Demand for online shopping services is driven by: 

• Isolate at home orders,  
• working from home, 
• record levels of unemployment, 
• people unable to shop because of COVID or caring for COVID patients

Best Online Shopping Centers   

Here are the top best sites for online grocery shopping.  I am not a big fan of paying money to spend money.  I will pay membership if I see value, however my 2 favorites from this list are InstaCart, for the convenience and speed to order and receive.  Post COVID InstaCart and Amazon had to increase the wait time promise for delivery, but still both are very good.

InstaCart has no membership and great service.     InstaCart would get my loyalty, if they were could return to post COVID, DoorDash competitive delivery within an hour or two.    
DoorDash does not make the list of best sites for online grocery shopping, but its worth noting that they have expanded their offering that to coin a phrase, "If you've got the money, honey, We've got the time".  You can order from Door Dash for some basic grocery store services including Safeway, Walgreens, CVS.   InstaCart could lose marketshare if they can not scale to meet this level of service offering. 

Amazon is my favorite for online grocery delivery.   I am willing to wait a little longer for an Amazon product , and it delivers quickly on most items.  If it were between Amazon and InstaCart, I would choose Amazon first, for its supply chain strength in breadth of product and speed of delivery.
